CMI has produced more than a dozen games for the Japanese pachinko market, working with most of the major film studios and a number of high-profile Hollywood talent.
Enter the Matrix (2009)
Working in partnership with Warner Bros. and Daiichi Shokai, CMI produced a game for the Japanese pachinko market based on The Matrix trilogy of films, featuring the likenesses of characters played by Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie Anne Moss, and Hugo Weaving.
CMI also produced an advertising campaign in partnership with Dentsu to support the launch of the game in Japan, with the spots featured here starring Nukumizu, a well known Japanese comedian who finds himself in the unlikely role of "Neo" while going about his everyday life in Tokyo.
Terminator 2: Judgment Day (2008)
Working in partnership with StudioCanal and Sega Sammy, CMI produced a game for the Japanese pachinko market based on the classic sci-fi action film, Terminator 2: Judgment Day. The game features the likenesses of characters played by Arnold Schwarzenegger, Robert Patrick, Linda Hamilton, and Edward Furlong.
Players are able to take on the role of the T-800 and the T-1000 with a combination of CG gameplay, iconic clips from the film, and music from the original soundtrack including "You Could Be Mine" by Guns N' Roses.
